I was doing my morning quiet time and I noticed a snail in the wall. I decided to read the verses in a pace that is very slow to mimic the snail’s movement.
The reading was slow but I was able to reflect on almost every word in the verses. I finished in a calm and reflecting way. I also saw that inch by inch the snail is almost on top of the wall.
I observed the snail and I could not see a movement. It looks like it is not moving but the next minute it was on top.

This is a reflection of life. The progress of what we are doing can be very slow. In fact, there are days when it easier to give up.
The snail is teaching us these things:
It is not about how slow the outcome is. As long as there is progress, it will bear soon bear a fruit.
Show up even if it is difficult. There are days when going to meetings or doing work is difficult. Show up. When you do, at the end of the day, pat yourself in the back and say, “See! You can do it!”.
Be patient to yourself as you go through this season. Big things come from small beginnings.
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…
