There is value in joining a community. It is nice to know that you are not alone. Some people share with you the same values and the same vision. Today, I met with young entrepreneurs from Victory Fort. We meet once a month. We listen to each other’s stories. We learn from the experience of other entrepreneurs who are just starting. We also pray for each other. I look forward to this conversation. It allows me to check my heart and learn from their stories.
In two hours, I heard testimonies about God’s work in our lives. That failure is a breakthrough in knowing God more and knowing where He is leading you. That every day is a process of surrender – “Not my decision God, lead the way for me”. That it is important to check our hearts always – “Am I align with God’s will?”. We can be concern about our business ventures but also ask this – “How about the Kingdom’s business?”. That this is a journey, and this journey is an act of obedience.
All these can be found in Hebrews 11:8. He was called, he obeyed and went even though he did not know where he was going.
“Every man is made to reach out beyond his grasp.” -Oswald Chambers
If you take life as a journey and not an outcome, it becomes very exciting. You will never know what happens tomorrow. Exciting! You will never know if you are making the right decision. Exciting! You are made beyond what you imagine yourself to be. Know that God is in control.
The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. – Psalm 121:8
