Actually, you are not failing. You are just busy comparing!
You are browsing facebook and see friends updating where they are this summer. You can’t help but compare your life from whoever is in your timeline. You see them successful. You see everything in them that you think you are not or you have not.
Social media will almost always be nice and glossy. In reality, they have to go through a lot of things just to be where they are. They endure and persevere.
Most people think they are failing at life. They think they are because they do not have specific goals to achieve. They are not sure what exactly do they want to achieve. They do not have a clear vision of who they want to be.
Start having goals! It does not have to be a grand disruptive goals. Take micro-steps like waking up 30 minutes than usual, try it for a week or two. If you are consistent with it, try 30 minutes less, until you get to your desired time to wake up.
How about exercise? Just thinking about can be tiring to some people. How about using the stairs once in a while. If you are going to only two floors up, use the stairs. Or take a stroll before going home.
Have goals this year. Maybe you can include deleting or deactivating social media for some time. Go!
Stop comparing your life to others. Start living it!
